Q and A with She Screams Murder

She Screams Murder

Interview with David Woodhouse.

Q. So tell me a brief history of the band.

A. We have been a band since March 2010 under the name Serenity Lies Within but after line up changes we changed to She Screams Murder we have been gigging since the July of that year playing all over the Midlands and last year we released our debut EP which was self titled.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

A. We are looking to get the SSM name further afield by maybe doing a UK tour next year that would be fantastic and we are also in the current process of writing our follow up to our debut EP.

Q. What is the best gig you’ve ever played?

A. My personal favourite was when we played the Hollybush in 2011 the day before our EP release gig. The atmosphere was incredible in there was so much moshing, singing and crowd surfing it had the lot!!!

Q. How about the worst?

A. Thats easy got to be when we first played live ever at a festival in West Brom. We were on that early we only had six people come watch us!!

Q. If you could play with any one in the world, alive or dead for one night only, who would it be?

A. Ermmmm ooo… thats a hard one. I would like to share the bill with Killswitch Engage and so would most of the lads. When this band first started they were our greatest influence and Jesse Leech is still mine.. he is one of the best vocalists ever, and they are such an awesome band and they know how to throw a party!!
